Prenatal Yoga Starts Feb. 27

published: Feb 1, 2022

We are excited to once again be offering Prenatal Yoga.

This practice uses gentle stretching and strengthening movements, restorative poses, and mindful breathing exercises to help expectant mothers stay in shape and prepare for the physical demands of labor.

Other benefits of prenatal yoga include reducing stress and anxiety; better sleep; and relief for many of the aches and pains that often come with pregnancy.  Studies suggest the growing baby may also benefit from the practice.

Moreover, prenatal yoga allows mothers-to-be to connect with each other in a safe and supportive environment.

This 5-week series begins on Feb. 27 and will be lead by certified prenatal yoga teacher Mi Han Chiu.  Each session is 45 minutes long and will meet on Sundays at 5:00 pm.  Enrollment is limited to 8 participants.

The entire series costs $150. There are no make-up dates or refunds for missed sessions.
