New Class Schedule Begins This Weekend

đź“‚ Schedule Changes
🖋️ April 29, 2025

We’re excited to give you a sneak peek of our brand new expanded schedule. We’re adding 11 — yes, ELEVEN! — classes to our weekly lineup, so you’ll have even more options to practice with us every day of the week.

The new schedule begins Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Many of your favorite instructors will be teaching these new classes. However, you’ll also be seeing several new faces on our staff. They are all excellent yoga teachers and and we’re confident you will grow to love them too!

Here are some highlights of the upcoming changes:

  • New classes at 11:00am every weekday, including 2 heated practices and a new Restorative Yoga class
  • Lunch Express classes will start at 12:30pm and will now be offered 5 times a week
  • A new Vinyasa class on Fridays at 5:30pm so you can get an earlier start on your weekend
  • A new Hot 26+2 class on Sunday afternoons so you can end your weekend on a high note
  • A new class called Centered & Strong on Wednesdays 7:00pm
  • A second Back To Basics class being offered on Saturdays at noon

To make room for these additions, we’ve adjusted start times for some of our existing classes. Please read below to learn more about how those changes might affect you.

The diversity and breadth of Living Yoga’s offerings is something that really sets our yoga studio apart. It allows you to practice many different yoga styles and lineages — depending on your ability or mood that particular day. So you can take a really challenging hot class one day, and follow it up the next day with something on the slower, gentler side of things.

With these changes, Living Yoga will now have 54 regularly scheduled weekly classes, in addition to workshops and our popular prenatal series. It’s a sign of how we’ve grown by leaps and bounds. We are more than just a yoga studio — Living Yoga is a vital community hub where strangers become lifelong friends, and where our yoga practice sustains us during difficult or uncertain times.

Meet Our New Teachers

CHRISTOPHER HERNANDEZ

Hot Yin / Tuesdays 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Chris is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, educator, newlywed, and proud dog dad with 15 years of practice on the mat. A lifelong search for truth, spirituality, and stillness from anxiety first brought him to yoga, but it’s the daily challenges—refining alignment, deepening self-connection, and listening to his body’s ever-evolving conversation—that keep him coming back. Blending dynamic movement with mindful stillness, he teaches both energizing Power Yoga flows and deeply restorative Yin sessions, creating space for strength, resilience, and self-expression. In all his classes, Chris cultivates a space where every body is a yoga body.

KIMBERLY SIAMBIS

Warm Vinyasa / Thursdays 11:00AM – 12:00PM

Kimberly began her yoga journey over 20 years ago while living in a small town in British Columbia. Over the years she has explored many lineages and styles of yoga and meditation. Kimberly moved to New York and completed a 500 hour yoga training with Yogaworks in 2010. She now practices under Sri Dharma Mittra and completed a 500 hour LOAY training in 2018. In Kimberlys classes you will find a balance of effort and ease. While making a connection to the breath, you will flow, move and stretch. She hopes to create sequences to heal the body and quiet the mind. Through the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra and a strong daily home practice, Kimberlys passion for teaching and finding a deeper connection to oneself is observed and felt in every class.

 TAMARA BELINDA

Vinyasa / Fridays 5:30PM – 6:30PM (Starts May 16)

Ta.Ma.R.A Belinda is a Crown Heights native sharing the ancient African practice of Kemetic Yoga. She has been intermittently practicing various forms of yoga since 2009, but became more focused on listening to her body, weight training, and deep stretching in 2018 to realign her spine from 4 childhood injuries: 3 on her spine and one in her foot. In a continuous discovery of the origins of the human state of being, Ta.Ma.R.A was serendipitously guided towards Kemetic Yoga during the pandemic year of 2020. Learning this modern rendition of an ancient practice of the spine and breath aligned perfectly with her studies of humanity and her creative exploration of crown energy and mathematical design. She received her certification from the Temple of Shetaut Neter in 2021 and currently leads weekly classes in various studios, public parks, and beaches around NYC. When she is not teaching, Ta.Ma.R.A is either crafting, sunset gazing, or dancing.

YANINA MANILOVA

Hot 26+2 / Sundays 4:30PM – 5:45PM

Nearly 2 decades ago, Yanina’s mother insisted that she should try Bikram Yoga (Hot 26+2) after she heard from a friend about the healing benefits of this yoga. Initially Yanina resisted trying it, because she assumed that practicing yoga must be boring. She took her first Hot 26+2 class in 2007 and immediately fell in love with it. In 2011, she completed Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles and taught for 6 years at Bode NYC (formerly Bikram Yoga NYC).  Yanina believes in the strong, transformative power of the Hot 26+2 practrice, which leads people to become a better versions of themselves and to feel happier.
